Six months, after their win in this year’s Melodifestivalen. Sweden’s Eurovision 2020 representative ‘The Mamas’ has released their debut EP ‘Tomorrow is Waiting’. The trios debut effort saw them work with producers such as Joy Deb, Herman Gardarfve and Sweden’s Eurovision 2013 representative Robin Stjernberg.
About ‘Tomorrow is Waiting’
The trio’s debut EP consists of two previously released tracks. ‘Let It Be‘, which was released in May, and ‘Touch The Sky‘, which was released last week.
As previously mentioned, it was also confirmed that each of the members, have their own solo tracks on the EP. ‘You Got Me’ is sang by Loulou, ‘The Lows’ is sang by Dinah, whilst ‘Whitney in the 80s’ is sang by Ashley.
Prior to the release of the track, the trio revealed more about the title track ‘Tomorrow is Waiting’, which came after Spring and Summer, at a time of uncertainty.
Loulou came with a lyric idea for ”Tomorrow is waiting”. We won Melodifestivalen and we had so much fun on our way and then came the pandemic. We ended up in a quiet chaos. An uncertain time of sitting and waiting for tomorrow. But we are all sitting in the same boat so instead of letting it knock us down, it gives us an incentive to fight on. If there is one thing The Mamas have done since the beginning, it is to lift each other up and look ahead. This song is from us to ourselves
