🇳🇱 Duncan Laurence releases new single ‘Last Night’

Reigning Eurovision champion Duncan Laurence is gearing up for the release of his debut album ‘Small Town Boy’ on November 13. As the lead up to the release of his album, Duncan has released his new single ‘Last Night’. For his latest release, Duncan brings us something different, a bit more upbeat, which is sure to make you add it to your playlist.

To coincide with the release of his latest single, Duncan has released a lyric video for ‘Last Night’, which you are able to watch below.

About ‘Last Night’

Last Night was written by Duncan alongside Ashley Hicklin, Jordan garfield, Mikolaj Trybulec. The song was produced by Duncan, along with Miki Trybulec and Arjen Mensinga.

Upon the release of the track today, Duncan mentioned what the track, and mentioning that the track is a tribute to imperfect relationships.

Sometimes we have to look into ourselves to do what’s right for the people we love. It’s easy to point out someone else’s mistakes, but it takes courage to look inwards. ‘Last Night’ is my tribute to imperfect relationships, because vulnerability and imperfection are more beautiful than perfection.

Duncan Laurence at the Eurovision Song Contest

The Netherlands internally selected Duncan Laurence to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. In Tel Aviv, Duncan managed to bring The Netherlands to the Grand Final for a fourth consecutive year.

In addition to his participation in the Grand Final, Duncan also managed to win the ‘Press Award’ for the ‘Marcel Bezençon Awards’ as voted for by the Press.

After 44 years, Duncan managed to win the Eurovision Song Contest for The Netherlands. The last time the country won the contest was in 1975 with “Ding-a-dong”.
