After weeks of excitement, we finally have a new Eurovision song! Israel provides the second Eurovision song from this year, after Albania already chose for “Karma” by Anxhela Peristeri in December. After an exciting national final, “Set Me Free” emerged as the winner!
The lineup of the national final consisted of three songs, all of which were sung by Eden Alene. Eden was set to represent Israel last year in Tel Aviv with “Feker Libi”, and has now returned for a second chance. It was firstly announced that a live show would take place, but due to the coronavirus measures, broadcast KAN opted for a national final where they showed the music videos of all the songs. The 3 competing songs were:
- La La Love
- Set Me Free
- Ue La La
