Ahead the Andra Chansen round of Melodifestivalen 2021, one of the contestants Paul Rey has fallen ill with stomach ache. He says he is recovering and hopes to perform on Saturday.
Semifinal clip used instead?
On his Instagram, Paul Rey is currently bedridden with stomach ache. He says he is now fever-free and on the road to recovery and hopes to be well enough to compete on Saturday. He is set to perform “The Missing Piece” on Saturday’s Andra Chansen.
Last year Paul also got unfortunate and caught allergic reaction ahead the Andra Chansen. Last year he competed with “Talking in My Sleep” and qualified to the final from the Andra Chansen.
Aftonbladet reports that if he is too ill to participate, Paul Rey’s performance from the first semifinal will be broadcasted instead in the duel against Frida Green.
