Norway’s Eurovision 2017 representative JOWST and Eurovision 2016 representative Agnete have released a new single together. The song “Barely Breathing” also features young Spanish DJ Azzip.

The song is written by Agnete, JOWST and Magnus Bokn, who took part in Melodi Grand Prix in 2020 with “Over the Sea”. JOWST was one of the songwriters of the entry, together with Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak. “Barely Breathing” is produced by Argentine DJ duo W1NK0 and Spanish DJ Azzip together with JOWST.
JOWST represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with “Grab the Moment”, while Agnete represented the country a year before, in 2016, with “Icebreaker”. JOWST has collaborated with several Eurovision artists in the past, including Kristian Kostov and Manel Navarro. Recently JOWST released a cover of Edward Maya and Vika Jigulina‘s 2009 hit “Stereo Love”.
Agnete recently took part in television show Hver gang vi møtes, the Norwegian version of the Dutch show Beste Zangers. She appeared on the show with Eurovision 1985 winner Hanne Krogh and former Melodi Grand Prix finalist Staysman.
