🇺🇦 Ukraine confirm Junior Eurovision 2021 participation

Ukraine are the 10th country to confirm their participation so far

UA:PBC, the Ukrainian public broadcaster, has confirmed that Ukraine will be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris, France. This confirmation makes Ukraine the 10th country to confirm their participation in the contest, due to be held in Paris’ La Seine Musicale in December.

UA:PBC has confirmed to Eurofestivales that they will be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The public broadcaster has yet to confirm its selection method, but their past three entries have been selected via virtual national finals.

At last year’s contest, Ukraine finished 7th with “Vidkryvai (Open Up)” by Oleksandr Balabanov, scoring a total of 106 points. They placed 7th with the juries with 52 points and 6th in the online voting with 54 points.

Junior Eurovision 2021 so far

Only days after Valentina’s win, the EBU were quick to confirm that we will be travelling to France for the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The contest will take place on December 19th at La Seine Musicale. The slogan of the contest will be Imagine.

At this point, ten countries have confirmed to participate in the JESC edition of 2021.
