For a full list feel free to follow our weekly updated New Music Friday playlist on Spotify. Without losing too much time, let’s get into this week’s new releases!

Amir – Rétine

Amir’s new single “Rétine” (eng.: Retina) is a beautiful ballad that perfectly fits to Amir’s voice. The ballad builds up for the last quarter and explodes with modern sounds. Even if you don’t speak French and do not understand the lyrics, the song touches you and is one of the rare ballads that are just perfect the way they are without being a typical ballad. The song was written by Amir himself together with Nazim Khaled and Stav Beger.

Tom Hugo & Alexandra Rotan – I Was a Fool

Not with Fred this time, Tom and Alexandra teamed up for the wonderful ballad duet “I Was a Fool”. The love song was written by Tom himself together with Alexander Olsson. The song has a magic touch to it and the violin in it is hitting you right in the heart. Sometimes the simple songs are the ones that move you the most!

Molly Sandén – Vi ska aldrig gå hem

Right when the bars and clubs open in Sweden, Molly is prepared to released THAT banger! “Vi ska aldrig gå hem” (eng.: We’ll never go home) is definitely the tune that will get you dancing. She is currently one of the biggest artists in Sweden. For the past year’s she released only Swedish music and those are going through the roof! Her latest release will not be an exception. Listen to it below:

Agnes – Here Comes The Night

The Swedes are not coming to play this Friday. Agnes is always dropping amazing tunes and “Here Comes The Night” is another one of those! Written and produced by no other than Salem Al Fakir. The song was written together with Agnes herself and Vincent Pontare and Hannah Wilson. Sweden is really hungry to storm the dancefloor after these long months. “Here Comes The Night” is influenced by 80’s disco sounds and a MUST for your playlist! Listen to the song below:

Kristian Kostov – Built Different

Bulgarian runner-up from 2017 is back with a brand new tune! Check out his brand new electro-pop song and get all the details in our article below:

LOBODA – Americano

Ukrainian Queen LOBODA dropped a mid-tempo banger with her latest release “Americano”. The song gives off a mysterious vibe which fits perfectly with the cover artwork of the song. Not as explosive as some of her other bangers but equally efficient and brilliant! Great release. Listen to “Americano” below:

Jasmine Kara – Du var för bra

2017 Melfest participant, Jasmine Kara, is bringing a tune with her release this week! “Du var för bra” (eng.: You were too good) will get you vibin’ the second you start the song. Very catchy and very good to sing along to. If you loved her music before, you will easily fall in love with her latest release. Pop perfection with a retro vibe. The song is written by Jasmine herself together with Albin Lee Meldau and Peter Kvint.
