Eurovision semi-finals return to BBC Three

Scott Mills and Rylan confirmed as the commentators

The British Broadcasting Corporation has announced that the semi-final broadcasts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be moving to their new home on BBC Three in the United Kingdom. Last time the shows were broadcasted on the BBC Three was in 2015.

Scott Mills and Rylan will be the commentators of the two semi-finals on BBC Three. United Kingdom will be voting on the second semifinal of the contest on May 12th.

Eurovision is one of my highlights of the year! I’m so looking forward to getting back in the commentary box with Rylan and bringing BBC Three viewers all the action from Turin.

Scott Mills on Eurovision Song Contest 2022

Previously Rylan has been the commentator of the contest in 2018 and 2019. Scott Mills has provided the BBC commentary for the semi-finals since 2011.

Myself and Scott love the show and after a few years away from the physical Eurovision bubble we both can’t wait to bring you ALL the semi-final action live from Turin. We promise we will make this year bigger and better than ever before and I can’t wait to get my dancing shoes on!”

Rylan on Eurovision Song Contest 2022

BBC has not revealed their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 yet. Most recently Chelcee Grimes was added to the rumour mill. The BBC are collaborating with the global publishing and management company TaP Music to choose a song and act to represent the UK on the stage in Turin.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will take place in Turin, Italy. The first semifinal of the contest kicks off on May 10th and the final takes place on May 14th.
