Pesma za Evroviziju ’22 songs released

The first semi-final will take place on March 3

Last month, RTS revealed the 36 finalists of Pesma za Evroviziju 2022, including some familiar faces. The broadcaster has since confirmed that we will get to hear all of the competing entries on today (February 8).

All 36 songs that are competing to represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 have been revealed via Pesma za Evroviziju’s YouTube channel. A selection committee of music editors from RTS selected the participants from 150 submissions.

Pesma za Evroviziju 2022 will take place over three shows on the following dates:

  • Semi-Final 1 – March 3
  • Semi-Final 2 – March 4
  • Grand Final – March 5

Each semi-final will feature 18 songs, with 9 acts qualifying from each show, determined by 50% jury voting and 50% televoting.

Ever since I saw Helena Paparizou's triumph at Eurovision in 2005 (at the tender age of 6), I have been crazy about Eurovision. From the regional native language bops and shrieky female-led balladry to the sophisticated avant garde pop songs and chart-friendly EDM, I love everything about this cultural phenomenon. I'm currently working as a Delivery Manager in a software development team.
