Straight out of Melodifestivalen 2022, Lisa Ajax has been announced to take part in Let’s Dance, Sweden’s version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Three days ago, Eric Saade was announced to take part in Sweden’s version of the international franchise Dancing with the Stars, that originates from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Today Lisa Ajax has been announced to join the line-up of the seventeenth season of the show. The show will be hosted by David Lindgren and Petra Mede. David Lindgren is known of taking part in Melodifestivalen three times and hosting it twice. Petra Mede has previously hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and 2016.
Lisa Ajax has taken part in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen four times. She debuted in the contest in 2016 with “My Heart Wants Me Dead” and qualified to the final. She returned in 2017 and 2019 and managed to qualify to the final both times through the andra chansen. In 2022 she competed with rap artist Niello with the song “Tror du att jag bryr mig”. The duo failed to qualify to the final after finishing last in the second heat.
Lisa Ajax will be dancing with Tobias Bader, who in 2020 took part in Let’s Dance in a same-sex couple with Alcazar-singer Andreas Lundstedt. Tobias Bader has also danced with former Melodifestivalen participants LaGaylia Frazier and Pernilla Wahlgren.
