Melodifestivalklubben OGAE Sweden and Pink Pig Productions will be organizing the Melfest WKND Pre-Party before the final of Melodifestivalen 2022 on Friday, March 11th and the main party after the Melodifestivalen final on Saturday, March 12th. The current line-up includes Eurovision and Melodifestivalen stars from this and the past years.
Currently the line-up for Melfest WKND include:
Friday, March 11th
- Dotter (Melodifestivalen 2018, 2020, 2021)
- Vladana (Eurovision 2022 for Montenegro)
- Sahlene (Eurovision 2002 for Estonia, Eesti Laul 2022, Melodifestivalen 2003, 2006, 2009)
Saturday, March 12th
- Magnus Carlsson (Melodifestivalen 2000-2003, 2005-2007, 2015)
- Anton Ewald (Melodifestivalen 2013, 2014, 2021)
The tickets, including meet & greet tickets, are on sale right now. The tickets for the pre-party on Friday can be found here and the tickets for the main party on Saturday can be found here. Melfest WKND takes place on Friday, March 11th, a day before the big Melodifestivalen final. The concert venue Nalen in Stockholm will host the event again. In 2021, the event was held virtually but in 2020, the line-up included Iceland’s Daði Freyr, Norway’s Ulrikke, Cyprus’ Sandro, Latvia’s Samanta Tina among other familiar Eurovision and Melodifestivalen artists.
The final of Melodifestivalen 2022 takes place on March 12th from the Friends Arena. The winner will be decided by the Swedish public together with the international juries and will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. Sweden will compete in the second semifinal of the contest.
