The Head of International Press & PR of the delegation of Czech Republic, Ahmad Halloun, has confirmed on Twitter that the revamped version of We Are Domi’s Eurovision 2022 entry “Lights Off” will be performed in tonight’s Selecția Națională final in Romania.
After winning ESCZ in December, We Are Domi have been working on the new version and the music video for their Eurovision entry “Lights Off”. Tonight they will premiere the revamped version of the song as part of Romania’s national final for Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The Romanian broadcaster TVR has invited artists from seven countries to perform their Eurovision 2022 entries. The Eurovision 2016 winner Jamala will also perform during the show.
We Are Domi will represent Czech Republic at the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. They will perform their song “Lights Off” in the second half of the show on May 12th. Last year Czech Republic failed to qualify to the final for the first time since 2017. Benny Cristo represented the country in Rotterdam with “Omaga” and finished 15th in the semi-final.
