Mia Dimšić shoots music video for ‘Guilty Pleasure’

Mia Dimšić was chosen to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “Guilty Pleasure”. Before embarking on a tour of the European pre-parties she has filmed a music video for the song.

Mia’s home city of Osijek was the location for the music video, situated in the north east of the country. The music video was directed by Artem Dushkin and his production company Lumiere Productions.

The video is set to show Mia in a variety of locations in the city. The video will feature the city’s blue trams, a symbol of Osijek. She is joined by dancers from the Osijek Dance Studio Illusion, with outfits designed by Goran Čižmešija.

We wanted to show the city or interesting locations, but not tourist ones, but to show the city from a different perspective. We decided on the tram because it is a trademark of Osijek and it’s great that we got a tram that looks very nice. The locations we have chosen are very interesting, maybe at first glance some do not even recognize them. We want to show Osijek from the other side. I’ve been here before and I really like Osijek, I always come here with gusto. I noticed that the people in Osijek are good and very open. And, of course, there is fine food and great hospitality

Mia Dimšić is scheduled to perform in the second half of the show. She hopes to bring Croatia to the final for the first time since 2017. Last year Croatia’s Albina became the first artist who failed to qualify to the final despite finishing in top ten with both, the juries and the televote.
