Last month Croatia’s official Eurovision club, Hrvatski Eurovizijski Klub (HEK), announced the return of the online Adriatic PreParty 2022. Originally set to take place this Saturday, the club have now issued a statement, delaying the YouTube event by a week until April 30.
Adriatic PreParty 2022
This season we have enjoyed the return of in person events. So far the acts have partied in Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, Israel and Madrid, before they head out to Turin for Eurovision 2022. Due to pandemic uncertainties, HEK announced the return of the second edition of the Adriatic PreParty 2022 would once more be an online event. Yesterday the club confirmed on social media that the original date of April 23 would now be pushed back to April 30.
After extensive discussions with the Adriatic PreParty’s participating delegations, we have made the executive decision to postpone our show to April 30. This will enable artists and their teams to put on stronger and more appealing performances to our beloved audience, as well as allow those who did not had time to prepare for our event to participate.
Regardless of the new circumstances, we promise to put on an incredible show with a variety of breathtaking acts! We still hope you will be able to join us on Saturday, April 30th, to help us celebrate the official start of the Eurovision month and all the excitement it brings.
And of course, thank you so much for all your support in the past few weeks! We will do our best and even more not to let you down and prove that even a small group of Eurovision fans is capable of doing something big. Trust us, anything is possible!
