Sam Ryder preparing release of Sigala and David Guetta dance collaboration

After the massive success of ”SPACE MAN” in the United Kingdom and beyond following his second-place finish in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Sam Ryder is gearing up to release a brand new song with dance DJs David Guetta and Sigala.

”Living the dream”

The collaboration began as a rumour earlier this month after being published by British newspaper The Sun. A source told The Sun:

“Sam honestly can’t believe his luck. It sounds so cliché but since appearing on ‘Eurovision’ he really has been living the dream. David and his team reached out and wanted to make something work. They think his vocals would sound amazing on a dance track. Sam has been working on an album which isn’t far off from being announced and a second single is a lot sooner than people think.”

The Sun, June 2022

The rumour was then confirmed in an interview at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium a couple of weekends ago. Sam, Sigala and David all performed sets at the annual event that attract thousands of spectators in the 90,000-capacity venue.

2022 success

With Sam thriving from the success of ”SPACE MAN”, Sigala achieving success this year with Talia Mar collaboration ”Stay the Night” and David Guetta’s massive collaboration with Becky Hill and Ella Henderson ”Crazy What Love Can Do”, a song featuring the three of them is surely going to take the charts by storm!

Next up for Sam: Formula 1

Nevertheless, before the release of this song and Sam’s upcoming debut album and tour, the British Eurovision sensation will be performing the National Anthem at Sunday’s British Grand Prix, an honour and dream come true for the Formula One fan.

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
