Zara Larsson confirms interval act interest for Eurovision 2024

The Swedish powerhouse recently expressed interest in performing as an interval act in next year’s contest.

25-year old pop diva Zara Larsson has had a lot of accomplishments during her career. Her most popular single, “Lush Life”, currently has over one billion streams on Spotify, and she has managed to build international stardom

Now, Larsson seems to be ready to tackle an entirely new project – Eurovision

“I’m a huge fan of Eurovision and Melfest, which is just Swedish culture. It really is. Everybody’s watching it, because it’s so fun. It’s just the show of the year. It’s so fun watching, and I would love to be part of the interval act next year. I don’t know if I would be up to compete in the competition” Larsson recently stated in an interview with Attitude.

Admiring Loreen

In the same interview, Larsson also declared her love for Loreen and her individualism. When asked if she would consider working with the two-time Eurovision champion, Larsson said “I would definitely. She’s very calm, down to earth. She’s a very special artist and she’s always had such a clear vision of what she wants to do, and how she wants to do it.”

Famous interval acts

If Zara Larsson ends up being an interval act in next year’s contest, it wouldn’t be the first time an international star did so. Just this year, pop star Rita Ora performed a medley in Semi-Final one, showcasing her biggest hits:

Previously, Madonna and Justin Timberlake have also performed during the show.
