After a competitive national selection, Anastasia Dymyd will represent Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 to be held in Nice, France on November 26 with ‘Kvitka’.
Anastasia Dymyd selected for JESC 2023
During the national final, hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko and Anna Tulieva, five artists took part, all hoping to win the ticket to represent Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023. However, it was 9-year-old Anastasia Dymyd that became the overall winner with, ‘Kvitka’. The winner was decided through a combined score of 50/50 jury and public voting. Over 630,000 votes were cast in total. The results are as follows below:

Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Back in 2006, the Eastern European nation made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Since then they have never missed a contest. Their best result came in 2012 with their only victory for Anastasiya Petryk with, ‘Nebo’.
Last year, Ukraine selected national final winner, Zlata Dzyunka to represent the country with ‘Nezlamna’. During the Yerevan contest, Zlata achieved ninth place with 111 points.
