The results have been counted and verified and OGAE Sweden have announced that they have won back-to-back contests, as Marcus & Martinus win OGAE Second Chance Contest 2023 with ‘Air’.
OGAE Second Chance 2023
This year it was the turn of OGAE Sweden to host the annual OGAE Second Chance Contest, following the victory of MEDINA with ‘In i dimman’. After a busy national final season, 23 OGAE clubs had the opportunity to celebrate the best of their Eurovision selections by putting forward their representatives for the contest that gives us another look at what could have been if countries had chosen differently.
Melodifestivalen runner-ups, Marcus & Martinus were crowned the winners of the 37th OGAE Second Chance Contest with the anthemic, ‘Air’. Thus marking the 19th win for OGAE Sweden and the first time since 1991 that a club has won Eurovision and OGAE Second Chance in the same year.
