RAI have confirmed that The Voice Kids Italy stars, Melissa & Ranya will represent Italy at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 to be held in Nice, France on November 26 as a duo with, ‘Un Mondo Giusto’

As Junior Eurovision 2023 rapidly approaches, Rai has revealed their act and song for the Nice contest. Taking to the stage on November 26 will be The Voice Kids Italy winner, Melissa Agliottone, from Civitanova Marche and The Voice Kids Italy finalist, Ranya Moufidi, from Ciserano. Together the duo will sing, ‘Un Mondo Giusto’. The dual-language Italian-English song was written, composed and produced by Franco Fasano, Marco Iardella and Mario Natale.
Italy in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Back in 2014, Italy made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Despite being late to the party, Italy became the second country after Croatia in the first edition, to win on their debut. Vincenzo Cantiello achieved 1st place and 159 points with, ‘Tu Primo Grande Amore’.
Last year, Italy internally selected Chanel Dilecta to represent the country with ‘BLA BLA BLA’. During the Yerevan contest, Chanel achieved eleventh place with 95 points.
