Today at 17:00 CET, Junior Eurovision week will officially kick off at the Opening Ceremony. The ceremony will be held at Hotel Negresco on Nice’s beach boulevard, the Promenade des Anglais.
Hosts of the afternoon are Carla Lazzari, who represented France at Junior Eurovision in 2019, and Manon Théodet, a young French actress. The programme is not yet fully released, but the ceremony will surely be exciting!
One event that will certainly take place during the Opening Ceremony is the random draw of France’s position during the Grand Final, as well as the countries that will be opening and closing the show. The full running order will be determined later.
The entire Opening Ceremony will be broadcast on Junior Eurovision’s YouTube channel! Get some snacks, a drink, and just click the video at the bottom of this article.
The Grand Final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place this Sunday (26 November) in Palais Nikaïa in Nice, France. The show will start at 16:00 CET. Watch it live on TV with commentary (for participating broadcasters), or without commentary via YouTube.
