Serbia Opens Song Submissions for Eurovision 2025

The excitement for Eurovision 2025 is already building as Serbia’s national broadcaster, RTS, has officially opened submissions for songs aiming to represent the country in the next contest. The submission window will remain open until November 1, 2024.

RTS continues its tradition with the popular pre-selection festival “Pesma za Evroviziju,” where Serbian viewers and a jury of music experts will jointly decide on the country’s entry. This format, splitting the decision 50/50 between the public and the jury, has proven successful over the past few years.

The festival has been a stepping stone for several notable Serbian entries. For instance, Konstrakta’s “In Corpore Sano” earned a 5th place finish in Turin in 2022, while Luke Black’s “Samo Mi Se Spava” and TEYA DORA’s “RAMONDA” also made it to the Grand Final in their respective years.

The RTS Selection Committee will carefully review all submissions, prioritizing artistic quality. Should no entry meet the necessary standards, RTS reserves the right to independently select a suitable song.

Composers and artists interested in participating can submit their entries through the RTS website. The detailed submission guidelines and entry forms are available at their RTS Eurovision Submission site.

With this announcement, Serbia is taking a significant step towards finding its next Eurovision star, promising another thrilling national selection process and a strong entry for Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland.
