‘Comme Ci Comme Ça’ for Titouan

As Junior Eurovision 2024 rapidly approaches, France Télévisions becomes the latest broadcaster to confirm their artist and entry. Taking to the stage at the Caja Mágica in Madrid this November will be 14-year-old Titouan from Brittany. A talented drummer, as well as singer, Titouan started in music at the age of three and names Janice Joplin and The Police among his inspirations.

‘Comme Ci Comme Ça’ is co-written by Malo and Marie Bastide and is a message of tolerance and unity.

“I’m happy that this song shows that we are rich in our diversity, no matter where we go or what we think. I hope that each time we listen to it, it will make each of us more tolerant, more caring and more respectful.

It’s crazy to think that so many people will listen to me and discover my universe. We’re preparing for the final right now, every day, with lots of vocal and stage coaching sessions.”

France in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Back in 2004, France made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Despite coming a respectable sixth place, the nation took an extended break from the contest for 14 years. Since their return, France have never finished lower than fifth place, becoming a dominant force in the Junior contest. Overall they have achieved three victories in 2020, 2022 and 2023.

Last year, France internally selected Zoé Clauzure to represent the country with ‘Cœur’. During the Nice contest, Zoé achieved first place with 228 points.
