Following a competitive edition of Albania’s national selection Junior Eurofest, Nikol Çabeli emerged victorious and will represent the nation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 taking place in Madrid, Spain on November 16
Nikol Çabeli releases revamped ‘Vallëzoj’
After beating seventeen other young singers to the coveted Junior Eurofest 2024 trophy, Nikol Çabeli is ready to share the music video for the finished version of winning entry, ‘Vallëzoj’. Already on her way to stardom, Nikol made her name in last years’ edition of Junior Eurofest, where she finished runner-up. Nikol was born in Ioannina and currently resides in Gjirokaster. Outside of music and dancing, Nikol is a keen volleyball player.
Albania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
In their short Junior Eurovision history since 2012, Albania have achieved two top ten results. Back in 2015, Mishela Rapo came fifth with ‘Dambaje’. So far, Albania’s highest placement in the contest. Later this year, Albania will take part for the tenth time.
Last year, Albania selected the Junior Fest 2023 winner, Viola Gjyzeli to represent the country with ‘Bota Ime’. During the Nice contest, Viola achieved 8th place with 115 points.
