Enya Cox Dempsey will represent Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2024

Ireland’s selection process for Junior Eurovision 2024 concluded tonight. Enya Cox Dempsey won and will represent Ireland at the contest with “Le chéile”.

The final of Junior Eurovision Éire 2024, the selection show for Ireland in this contest contained three entrants vying to be chosen for the contest. The contestants were Lottie O’Driscoll-Murray, Isla McManus and Enya Cox Dempsey.

The show consisted of two rounds, with two contestants, O’Driscoll-Murray and Dempsey, advancing to the final round. In the first round, the contestants performed covers of two songs, and in the second, they performed the entry “Le chéile”. Dempsey won over the judges, who decided the result of the show.

Ireland in Junior Eurovision

Enya Cox Dempsey will represent Ireland at this year’s Junior Contest in Madrid. This will take place on the 16th November, with 17 countries participating.

This will be Ireland’s eighth appearance at the contest – their best result was finishing 4th in the 2022 version with Sophie Lennon’s ‘Solas’.
