Vincent
I did not recognize its greatness in the first few days of checking out Supernova’s songs, but once I listened to the full version of this song, I was on board. It is a spectacular entry, the good mix of folklore and modern sound that we are now loving to listen to in Eurovision. I personally don’t mind the English verses, which are in the whole theme of “Ligo”/”Midsummer”, with the traditions of finding your loved one there.
It’s also the kind of song for which I can very easily picture a staging in Basel, and I know the semi-final staging was a bit of a disappointment for some but I think the right ingredients are there and it will have enough time to get better in Basel, should it win.
