In December of 2024, Czech national broadcaster Czech Television confirmed that they would be represented by Adonxs at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 taking place in Basel, Switzerland this May. After teasing an acoustic preview during national final season, Adonxs is now ready to share his entry, ‘Kiss Kiss Goodbye’.
Who is Adonxs?
Late last year, Czech Television announced Adonxs as the latest act to represent Czechia on the Eurovision stage. After two years of opting for public selections, Adonxs was chosen internally by a jury following an open call for songs and artists.
Adam Pavlovčin (ADONXS) is 29 years old and originally comes from Myjava, Slovakia. Adam moved to Prague and later London to pursue a career in music. While still in high school, he formed the duo PACE with a classmate, which was joined by two other musicians after Adam’s move to London. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Songwriting and Creative Musicianship at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in London. In 2021, he moved back to Prague and consequently won the Czech-Slovak talent show SuperStar. Adam is the first openly queer winner of this show. Since 2021, he has released several singles as well as his debut album “Age of ADONXS“.
‘Kiss Kiss Goodbye’ music video released
