Despite initial reports suggesting there would be no changes to the staging and performance of Sissal’s Eurovision Song Contest 2025 entry, ‘Hallucination’, the Danish delegation have confirmed there will be an entirely new staging prepared for Basel.
Danish delegation to revamp staging for Eurovision 2025
In the aftermath of her DMGP 2025 victory, Sissal has confirmed that work began on revamping the ‘Hallucination’ staging immediately after the Danish selection finished. In contradiction to early reports that suggested there would be no changes for Basel. Which raised questions among some sections of the Eurovision fan community. Although no details have been revealed yet, Sissal and the delegation have confirmed to media that the entire staging package, outfit and presentation will be changed. Only the song will stay the same.
“We are currently working on a brand new and strong performance for Sissal. We personally think that with Sissal we are sending one of the strongest vocalists to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, that the song “Hallucination” is a huge banger and that Sissal is a completely outstanding artist overall. The show we bring to Eurovision must match all of that. And that is why we have now chosen to come up with a new fabulous show that brings out all the best in Sissal and the song.”

We are working 24/7 on an all new show for Basel. We are not done yet, but the ideas are great and grand, and if we succeed carrying out the plans, both the audience and me will be blown away.
