The Danish national selection, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025 concluded last night. Sissal was the winner with her song ‘Hallucination’.

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix had 8 acts vying to go to Eurovision, and the results were decided over two rounds.
In both rounds, the results were decided 50/50 between public vote and the jury. Three acts were sent through from the first round to the superfinal, with the rest eliminated. After this first round, the five acts that were eliminated were Mariya, Max Ulver, Hervé Toure, Maria Mathea and Andreas Kruse.
The ranking of the 3 acts in the final round was as follows:
- Sissal – Hallucination – 38 points (20 from jury, 18 from televote)
- Tim Schou – Proud – 37 points (14 from jury, 23 from televote)
- Adel The Second – The Unluckiest Boy Alive – 25 points (16 from jury, 9 from televote)
As a result, Sissal won the final and will represent Denmark in Eurovision. She will be looking to return Denmark to the Grand Final for the first time since 2019. In 2024, Denmark’s Saba came 12th in the semi-final.
