Marino Vrgoč to Represent Croatia at Junior Eurovision 2025

Marino Vrgoč, winner of the inaugural season of The Voice Kids Croatia, has been confirmed as Croatia’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Vrgoč earned his spot on the international stage after capturing Croatian audiences with his performances on The Voice Kids in late 2024. “I was very surprised when they told me,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it.”

Croatia returns to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2014. The country debuted at the inaugural 2003 contest in Copenhagen, where Dino Jelusić’s “Ti si moja prva ljubav” claimed first place. Croatia continued to compete through 2006, with a third-place finish in 2004, before withdrawing due to broadcasting and cost concerns. After a one-off return in 2014, when Josie Zec finished 16th with “Game Over,” Croatia again stepped away from the contest.
