Lou Deleuze to represent France at Junior Eurovision 2025 with “Ce monde”

The 11-year-old singer was chosen by France Télévisions to represent France in Tbilissi. She will sing “Ce Monde” (This world), a French ballad.

Born in March 2014, Lou is an 11-year old French singer. She took part in the 2024 season of “La France a un incroyable talent” (France Got Talent), where she qualified from the auditions but did not go beyond the jury deliberation phase.

Her song, “Ce Monde”, diverges from the trend of upbeat songs France sent to the Junior contest these past few years, and goes closer to the “French ballad” style France Télévisions has sent to the senior Eurovision Song Contest. It is written by Linh (a singer-songwriter, alumnus of the first French season of The Voice, but whose career took off in the early 2000’s) along with her composers Jonathan Thyssens and John Claes.

France returned to Junior Eurovision in 2018 and has had a very good run since its comeback, with three victories (2020, 2022 and 2023) and no placing outside of the Top 5, with uptempo, “childish” songs. With “Ce Monde”, France Télévisions seems willing to take an risk for a better reward.

How do you feel about the change in France Télévisions’ choice of song? Do you like “Ce Monde” ? Can France win and make it 4 victories in 8 participation since its comeback? Tell us more in the comments below!
