Wiktor Sas to represent Poland at JESC 2026

Poland’s national broadcaster (TVP) has confirmed Wiktor Sas will represent the nation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 taking place later this year.

Last year Polish broadcaster dropped Szansa na sukces and decided to use an internal selection to choose their representative for Junior Eurovision 2025. Wiktor Sas won the recent edition of The Voice Kids and with it, the right to perform at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 taking place later this year.

Following his victory Wiktor received 50,000 zloty as well as a recording contract with a music label. Currently, TVP have not confirmed what Wiktor will sing or when it will be released.

Poland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Back in 2003 Poland made their Junior Eurovision debut in the inaugural contest held in Copenhagen, with Kasia Żurawik and her entry ‘Coś mnie nosi’. During the final, they placed 16th and last overall with 3 points. After another last place the following year, Poland took a break from the contest before making a comeback in 2016. Since that early setback, Poland have become a powerhouse in the Junior contest. with seven consecutive top 10 results since 2017. Their best results came in 2018 and 2019 with back to back victories for Roksana Węgiel and Viki Gabor.

Last year TVP selected Marianna Kłos with, ‘Brightest Light’ for the Tbilisi final through an internal selection. During the contest she placed 8th overall with 139 points.
