AMPTV the national broadcaster of Armenia has confirmed their representative for JESC 2026. Later this year Naré will take to the stage in Ta’ Qali, Malta on October 24.
🇦🇲 Naré releases ‘BOO!’ music video
Alongside the release of the music video, AMPTV have confirmed 13-year-old Naré will sing ‘BOO!’ at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2027 taking place in Malta on October 24.
During the Summer, over 100 songs applied to the national broadcaster. From these submissions, 40 were chosen for follow-up auditions. A team of eight national jurors, that included 2022 Eurovision representative Rosa-Linn combined with a team of international jurors to determine the final shortlist.
Armenia’s Head of Delegation revealed that Naré has previously attempted to represent the nation three times before achieving success this year.
‘BOO!’ was composed and produced by Lilit Navasardyan, Grigor Kyokchyan, Nick Egibyan, Martin Mirzoyan and Anush Ter-Ghukasyan.
Armenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Since their debut in 2007, Armenia remains one of the most successful nations in Junior Eurovision. The Caucasus nation has never finished below ninth and has achieved ten top 3 podium placements. So far, they have two victories in the competition in 2010 and 2021.
Last year, AMPTV selected Albert with the entry, ‘Brave Heart’. At the Tbilisi contest he placed 4th with 175 points.
