Australia’s Eurovision broadcaster SBS has confirmed their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 taking place in Burgas, Bulgaria next May.

Today, SBS confirmed its upcoming programme schedules for Australian audiences in 2027. Within the press release the broadcaster confirmed its intention to send a representative to the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria next May.
“The Eurovision Song Contest returns in 2027 after more than 3.27 million Australians tuned in this year, with Australia’s Delta Goodrem taking an impressive fourth place in Vienna, Austria. As Eurovision heads to Bulgaria, who will represent Australia in 2027?.”

The announcement comes after Delta Goodrem achieved Australia’s best result in the contest since 2016. Delta’s star power and fourth place saw Australian viewership increase to over 3 million.
