First rehearsal recap Day 1: L.E.V.O.N’s got the dance moves for Armenia – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes As someone who didn’t see this on Tuesday, I am reliably informed there are not too many changes to this performance by L.E.V.O.N today! There’s some really swish camera cuts in the final chorus and throughout, L.E.V.O.N gets the crowd up on their feet and dancing away to his high tempo, heavy beat track. This will look great with a full arena at the weekend. Rehearsal video clips How to vote! Online voting is now open! Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries. Voting closes at 3.59pm CET on …

We have just watched the latest run through of Champion. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: The arena is filled with gold for Australia’s Jael – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes This is extremely similar to what we saw on Tuesday, indicating Australia is very confident in their performance. With artists in full hair and make-up for these second rehearsals, Jael’s hair is now clipped back on her left hand side. It has the benefit of increasing her connection with the cameras! The camera transitions were extra snappy this time round in time with the drum beats. Everything going perfectly to plan for Australia’s champion! Rehearsal video clips How to vote! Day 3: 🇦🇿 A brand new dress for Azerbaijan’s Fidan Huseynova

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Fidan Huseynova from Azerbaijan. We have just watched the latest run through of I Wanna Be Like You. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: Azerbaijan brings a big white box for Fidan Huseynova – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes So the biggest change here is that they’ve opted to change Fidan’s costume. Her dress is now simple, with less of the frills which make her silver leggings more prominent. It’s a good change, it makes Fidan more modern and youthful! The choreography from the Azerbaijani seems to be a little more toned down this time round and the camera shots seem to be gentler. Fidan’s own armography, particularly when sat on the box for the first verse, seems to be simpler. Nevertheless, she’s still opted for a head microphone. The cute …

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Daniel Yastremski from Belarus. We have just watched the latest run through of Time. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: Belarus using home advantage by bringing props galore to the party – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes Not a lot of change for Belarus today. The mostly noticeable difference is the tight camera shots that disguise some of the set changes being made by the backing dancers. However, this looks as professional as ever from Belarus. We have a bit more emphasis on the ‘fireworks’ on the back screen when the clock appears too, it’s a real feast for the eyes. The real highlight of this piece is how Daniel links together each element of his song with all the props and his backing dancers.  Rehearsal video clips How to vote! …

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Angélina from France. We have just watched the latest run through of Jamais Sans Toi. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: France’s Angélina recreates a day out in a Parisian park – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes France’s first rehearsal was arguably one of the most polished we’d seen, so naturally there’s little that has been changed. Angélina’s backing dancers were being even more theatrical with their on-stage acting this time round, increasing the fun and youthfulness of the performance. Angélina herself also constantly smiles at the camera, creating a very warm and inviting feeling. Whether there’s been minor changes we’re unsure, but the pink and white swirl LEDs come in for each post-chorus breakdown with the Paris park LED for each verse and chorus. The setting throughout now seems to …

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Marija Spasovska from Macedonia. We have just watched the latest run through of Doma. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: On-screen graphics and a costume reveal for Macedonia’s Marija Spasovska – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes Right from the start, Marija’s cape now covers her whole head before she slowly begins to reveal herself as she gets to the first chorus. Macedonia have replaced the rainfall overlay, just focussing on the snow now on the screens behind to set the scene for Doma.  Some tweaking to the camera angles now means that we see the hologram of the family on the bridge behind Marija clearly, and another small change means we see Marija turn on the snowflake lighting in her hand. The final shot now sweeps up slowly to frame Marija …

Day 3: 🇬🇪 Georgia’s Tamar is full of passion, energy and talent

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Tamar Edilashvili from Georgia. We have just watched the latest run through of Your Voice. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: Tamar Edilashvili is in highway traffic for Georgia – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes The biggest change for this rehearsal is that Tamar is really feeling the music with lots of natural movements in tune with the music. She’s putting absolutely everything into this and it is a joy to watch. They’ve tidied up some important camera angles in regards to when the LEDs show lyrics on the screens. Previously, the timing was off and only part of the lyric was seen. Now, we get a glorious wide angle that shows the uplifting “Just step on your way” message! This is a performance worthy of not just the Junior contest, …

Macedonia, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Australia, Armenia and Albania. Have a look at the full detailed rehearsal schedule by clicking here! The next artist to rehearse today is Taylor Hynes from Ireland. We have just watched the latest run through of IOU. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: 60s flower power colourful theme for Taylor and Ireland – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes In the middle eight dance break, a static old fashioned TV effect has been added into the visual camera effects, alongside a good old fashioned earthquake camera wobble too.  All in all, this looks more polished in terms of camera shots today and maybe, just maybe, Ireland could end up on the left hand side of the scoreboard on Sunday. Rehearsal video clips How to vote! Online voting is now open! Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries. The first artist to rehearse today is Noam Dadon from Israel. We have just watched the latest run through of Children Like These. Now, let’s compare the differences between the first and second rehearsals! First rehearsal recap Day 1: Noam Dadon keeps it simple for Israel – REVIEW Second rehearsal changes In comparison to the first rehearsal, we think the beginning of the performance has been slightly changed with the focus on the starry LED backdrop and the camera swirling around Noam creating a “floating in space” effect. Noam now smiles at the camera at points throughout the song, showing his increasing confidence with the stage and his performance. Furthermore, as we reach the second and final chorus, we get a very long camera shot swirling around Noam before being bathed in gold lighting as soon as the chorus hits!
