Yesterday on the 13th of April three Eurovision artist celebrated their birthday. However today, there are two birthday singers. The birthday boy has a incredible voice which he used in unique way. And the birthday girl has also taken part at junior Eurovision. Jacques Houdek and Anita Simoncini were born on this day.
Jacques Houdek, 37
Croatian chose Jacques as their performer for Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv. Therefore he performed his song “My Friend” on the stage. Is skills as singers were tested because the song was kind of a duet made by one. Where he sang in English and Italian. His performance got him to the Grand Final where he landed in 13th place.
Anita Simoncini, 19
Anita took part at Junior Eurovision in 2014 on the behalf of San Marino. With the girl group The Peppermints and performed the song “Breaking My Heart“.
San Marino selected her again the year after. Then for Eurovision, where she sang a duet with Michele Perniola. They performed the song “Chain of Lights” at the stage in Vienna. Unfortunately for them the song did not advance to the final.
