On 5th of May five Eurovision artist had a birthday. Today, however, there is one Eurovision singer that has a birthday. She has also been a host at Eurovision when her country hosted the contest. Dafna Dekel were born on this day.

Israel selected Dafna in 1992 to be their act at Eurovision. That is why she went on the stage in Malmö, Sweden. Her song is called “Zeh raq sport” and got 85 points and thus placeing 6th! Dafna also was one of the host of the Eurovision Contest in Jerusalem in 1999. There she sang a duet with Sigal Shachmon called “L’Chaim” as an interval act.
