After a few Super Saturdays, hectic evenings and some shockers during this week, we’re up for a more quiet night tonight. Just three countries have a show planned for you: Portugal, the United Kingdom and Sweden!
Portugal
What: Festival da Canção – Final
When: 22.25 CET
Broadcaster: RTP1
After some exciting semifinals on Tuesday and Thursday, Portugal will now round up their national final, Festival da Canção 2015. Six songs are still competing in order to represent Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Or five… We actually don’t quite know. Eurovision veteran Simone de Oliveira has said she’d rather not do Eurovision, but we don’t know if she would actually do a ‘Kümmert’ if she’d win tonight! All the reason to tune in for Portugal’s Festival da Canção tonight! The show will start at 22.25 CET and is scheduled to last just over two hours.
The line-up:
- Leonor Andrade – Há Um Mar Que Nos Separa
- Yola Dinis – Outra Vez Primavera
- Gonçalo Tavares – Tu Tens Uma Mágica
- Teresa Radamento – Um Fado Em Viena
- Simone de Oliveira – À Espera Das Canções
- José Freitas – Mal Menor (Ninguém Me Guia À Razão)
Sweden
What: Melodifestivalen 2015 – Andra Chansen
When: 20.00 CET
Where: Helsingborg Arena in Helsingborg
Broadcaster: SVT1
It’s week five in Sweden and that means one thing: Andra Chansen! The eight acts that came third or fourth in their respective semifinals will get a second chance to make it to the final next week. The eight have been split up in four duels. The winner of each duel will earn a ticket to next week’s Finalen in the Stockholm Friends Arena.
The duels:
- Duel 1:
Andreas Weise – Bring Out The Fire
Linus Svenning – Forever Starts Today - Duel 2:
Hasse Andersson – Guld Och Gröna Skogar
Kristin Amparo – I See You - Duel 3:
Dolly Style – Hello Hi
Dinah Nah – Make Me (La La La) - Duel 4:
Behrang Miri ft. Victor Crone & Malena Ernman – Det Rår Vi Inte För
Samir & Viktor – Groupie
United Kingdom
What: BBC Eurovision Reveal
When: 22.25 CET
Broadcaster: BBC Red Button
The United Kingdom has been awfully silent about their entry so far. A few weeks ago, the British broadcaster released a statement on their blog saying when their entry would be revealed: 7th March, on BBC Red Button, right after The Voice UK. We don’t know anything about their act so far and even the rumour mill has been less active than in previous years. BBC have said they’ve learnt from last year’s lessons, when Molly came 17th in Copenhagen, despite being high up with bookmakers.
In short
That’s just a few shows for tonight then! Three shows and luckily, you can watch all results without missing anything! You may miss a bit of Portugal though if you wish to watch the United Kingdom… Anyway, here’s the schedule for tonight:
