The guest-list just gets longer and longer with Nina Kraljić the next contender for the Eurovision 2016 title to confirm her place at the London Eurovision Party 2016.
Nina Kraljić, 23-year-old student from Lipovljani, Croatia, is singing since the early days of her childhood, and has developed her singing skills through various music projects and synchronization of animated movies. Her performances in the first season of The Voice – Najljepši glas Hrvatske, left few people indifferent. From her first audition where she sang ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ to the unique interpretation of a regional evergreen ‘Što te nema’, all the way to the finale and extraordinary performance of Macedonian folk song ‘Zajdi, zajdi’, Nina left the audience speechless and fascinated with her performances. Her extraordinary voice was also recognized by Jacques Houdek, one of the coaches in the first season of The Voice – Najljepši glas Hrvatske, and one of the best male singers in Croatia, who mentored Nina to the victory.
Beginning of 2016 marks her 3 nominations for Croatian Music Award – Porin 2016 (Best New Act, Best Song Arrangement, Best Female Vocals Performance), as well as being chosen as representative for Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest 2016! Nina was also recognized as a Best Newcomer by Croatian national public broadcaster’s radio HR2.
Nina is currently recording her debut album, which will be released on Universal Music, and will not only include her first single ‘Zaljuljali smo svijet’ but also her song – “Lighthouse” for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, which she has revealed on March 9th. The song was written by Andreas Grass and Nikola Paryla, better known as Popmaché, and produced by Thorsten Brötzmann from Germany.
