Daði Freyr from Iceland, one of the favourites for the Eurovision 2020 trophy this May, will take to the Café de Paris stage at the London Eurovision Party in the heart of the West End on Sunday 29th March.
Two times the charm
2020 wasn’t Daði Freyr’s first effort at representing Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2017, “Hvað með það?” (“Is This Love?”) was the runner-up in Söngvakeppnin, the Icelandic selection for Eurovision.
This year, Daði Freyr and his band Gagnamagnið won the chance to represent Iceland at Eurovision with the entry “Think About Things”, dedicated to his young daughter and became an early favourite to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Daði Freyr is the 16th act to be announced so far for the London Eurovision Party 2020. The full line-up, as announced so far, is as follows:
