Arilena Ara takes to the London Eurovision Party stage!

Back in December, Arilena Ara became the first confirmed song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 when “Shaj” won Festivali i Këngës in Albania. We are delighted to announce that Arilena will take her place on the stage at the heart of London’s West End at the London Eurovision Party 2020 on Sunday 29th March.

Not a stranger to competitions

Arilena Ara, at the age of 21 years old, won the very competitive 58th edition of Festivali i Këngës in December 2019 with “Shaj”, which is undergoing a revamp with the inclusion of English lyrics. She made her breakthrough as an upcoming artist in Albania by winning The X Factor Albania in 2012 at the very young age of 14.

Further competition success came for Arilena Ara when in 2016, she won Kënga Magjike with the song “Nëntori”, becoming a huge hit not just in Albania but across the Southern Eastern European region, making it to number 1 in the Romanian Airplay Chart. She then also reached number 1 in Bulgaria when featuring on “Last Train to Paris” by KDDK feat. Arilena Ara.

Arilena Ara is the fifth act to be announced so far for the London Eurovision Party 2020. The full line-up, as announced so far, is as follows:
