Following a competitive edition of Albania’s national selection Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës Për Fëmijë, Eslin Kurti emerged victorious and will represent the nation at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 taking place in Malta on October 24.
🇦🇱 ‘Kërce me mua‘ is the song for Albania at JESC 2026
After two nights of festivities, Eslin Kurti emerged victorious with her song, ‘Kërce me mua’. (‘Dance With Me’ in English). The winner of Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës Për Fëmijë was chosen through 100% jury voting. This comprised of 50% professional jury and 50% children’s jury.
Albania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
In their short Junior Eurovision history since 2012, Albania have achieved four top ten results. Back in 2015, Mishela Rapo came fifth with ‘Dambaje’. So far, Albania’s highest placement in the contest. Later this year, Albania will take part for the twelfth time.
Last year, Albania selected the Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës Për Fëmijë winner Kroni Pula to represent the country with ‘Fruta Perime’. During the Tbilisi contest, Kroni achieved 6th place with 145 points.
