ESCXTRA: Live from LisbonLisbon 2018

Day 3: DoReDos bringing creativity to a whole new level for Moldova – REVIEW

ESCXTRAย are live fromย Lisbon for day 3 of rehearsals ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018!ย The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Norway, Romania, Serbia, San Marino, Denmark, Russia, Moldova, The Netherlands and Australia.

Weโ€™re streaming live from the press centre

Furthermore,ย read our handy guideย for a more detailed look at this contestโ€™s rehearsal schedule.
In addition, for our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the Altice Arena byย visiting our YouTube channel.
The next artist to rehearse are DoReDos. We have just watched theirย first run through of My Lucky Dayย live on screen for Moldova and here is our initial reaction.

Staging

They have a white box on the stage. With three doors which also function as windows. They step out separately in the beginning and telling a story with the box in the background. It’s about stealing the girl. In the end, they all get out of the box and get joined by their background dancers. The way theyย tell the story with the background dancers/singers in the box is very creative and they deliver a funny story to their song.

Vocals

Vocals are good. There is a lot of moving on stage with doesn’t help the vocals, but it’s solid. People will more focus on the performance, than the vocals.

Costumes

The three of DoReDos are dressed in the colours of the Moldovian flag. Yellow dress and blue red suits.

Watch the rehearsal!

Stay tuned for our reaction to Waylon as they rehearse Outlaw In ‘Em next for The Netherlands. If you want to know what to expect for the rest of the day, check out our rehearsal scheduleย here.ย Meanwhile, remember to tune in to ourย live stream from the press centreย for instant reactionsย to each rehearsal.

Dominik Rรถssing

Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. Watched my first Eurovision in 2003 and I was in love right away! Attended my first contest in 2011 and every contest since 2013. The same happened with Melodifestivalen. Started watching in 2006 and been to every final since 2017 and try to make it to at least one heat each year, too. After all, Melodifestivalen is the real deal โ™ฅ
