First solo album in six years

After spending all her time on The Common Linnets and other projects since 2014, Ilse is now releasing her first solo album in six years with the self-titled Ilse DeLange due for release on August 31st. She’ll then follow this with a ‘club’ tour around The Netherlands and a special show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.
Ilse released her first album in 1998 titled World of Hurt. The country singer recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the album release with a special concert at Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. Between 1998 and 2014 Ilse had released multiple studio and live albums before forming The Common Linnets.
Ilse has also appeared as a coach on The Voice and The Voice Kids in The Netherlands and she is currently featured on hit US TV show Nashville as fictional talent show coach Ilse De Witt.

Return to Eurovision? “I’ll never say never”

In a recent interview with RTL news, Ilse was asked the question as to whether she would ever return to the Eurovision Song Contest. She refused to rule out a return if such an opportunity was given to her saying “I’ll never say never”.
Ilse’s former The Common Linnets bandmate Waylon returned to the Eurovision Song Contest this year. He represented The Netherlands with the song Outlaw In ‘Em. The song achieved 18th place in the Grand Final.
