Damir started his career in 2003 by participating in Story Super Nova Music Talent Show but became even more famous in Croatia after winning the third season of Tvoje lice zvuči poznato, the Croatian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar.

After taking part in Story Super Nova, he formed a boyband Saša, Tin i Kedžo. Their biggest hit was “365” and they also took part in Dora 2005. They finished tenth in the final with the song “Zašto”.

After the group disbanded, Damir released his first album in 2008. In 2011, he took part in Croatia’s national selection but was eliminated during the first live show. This year he returned to the selection and won the final by finishing second with the regional juries, but getting highest points from the Croatian public.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.

I think he could have won the jury vote, had the contest gone ahead as usual

Indira would be a much better choice for Croatia. She has a 25 years of a succefull career behind her (she was the lead singer of the band “Colonia” for 20 years, who btw also competed with a new singer of the band).
Indira literally owns the hearts of all ex-yu countries with her voice, charisma and energy. Been to many of her live performances and she is literally living fire!
