Event locations are getting ready for 2021
Ahoy Rotterdam and many other event locations in The Netherlands make up their plans for 2021. Every organiser needs to follow strict rules to make everything corona-proof. Ahoy-director says: “We would very much like to be able to speak with the government with one voice about what will soon be possible”.
Covid-19 will affect Eurovision 2021
A statement made by Sietse Bakker: “Only these developments are difficult to predict at the moment. That is why in the coming months we will work with all parties involved on various scenarios to meet that challenge for the Eurovision Song Contest. Naturally, the health of visitors, employees and artists always comes first. We also organize our industry-wide sector in order to learn from each other and to support each other if necessary. ”
He talks about the corona situation and its development in the near future. he is aware that the Covid-19 virus will affect the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
The alliance includes affiliated Lowlands, the Johan Cruijff Arena, Ahoy, the Eredivisie, the Eurovision Song Contest, Oerol and Formula 1. The parties will talk to the ministries of Health, Welfare and Sport, Economic Affairs, Education, Culture and Science and Justice and Security.
