Austria’s Eurovision 2020/2021 representative Vincent Bueno has confirmed that he will be releasing his new self-penned single ‘Walking on Water’, on June 19. He confirmed the release of his new single earlier today via social media:

When the release of ‘Walking on Water’ was announced, Vincent has explained what the song is about and why he has chosen to release it:
I think in these times we’re living in today this song is the most appropriate to release right now. I don’t do this to be politically correct but rather to inspire you and share a song of hope in these times of racism, political injustice, and a global pandemic. There’s still hope no matter what we’re confronted with every day. I hope you can feel the uplifting spirit in this song
Vincent on what ‘Walking on Water’ is about
Walking on Water is among the new music Vincent has released in 2020. So far, he has currently released his Eurovision entry ‘Alive’, he has also taken part in a cover of ‘We Are The World’ with Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Family Fight, a song dedicated to his cousin Rachelle, and ‘Under the Same Sky’ for UNICEF Vietnam.
Vincent’s Eurovision journey
Vincent started his Eurovision entry in 2017, where he was a backing singer for Nathan Trent and his entry ‘Running on Air’ which placed 16th overall. In 2019, ORF announced that Vincent will represent Austria in the 2020 contest in Rotterdam. Despite its cancellation, it’s been announced he will represent Austria in the 2021 contest.
