🇬🇧 Michael Rice to release new single ‘Breaking Free’ on July 17

UK’s Eurovision 2019 representative Michael Rice has been working hard on creating new music. Soon, we are able to hear what he has been cooking up for us, as he has announced, that he will be releasing his new single ‘Breaking Free’ on July 17.

Michael confirmed the release of his latest single, via his social media accounts.

What is Breaking Free about?

Whilst releasing a preview of the lyric video of Breaking Free, Michael has revealed a bit more information about his latest release.

I wrote this song about breaking away from the mould that society expects you to be. Sometimes it can be you against the world, but you’ve gotta fight for what you believe in and what you stand for, even if that means stepping into the unknown

Michael Rice at the Eurovision Song Contest

In 2019, the United Kingdom selected Michael Rice to represent them in Tel Aviv, with the song ‘Bigger than Us’. The song was written by Laurell Barker, Anna-Klara Folin, John Lundvik and Jonas Thander. During his participation in Tel Aviv, Michael finished 26th in the compeition.
