On January 3 we will find out the Top 3 songs to compete at the Israeli national final for Eurovision 2021!
The final songs are going to be selected by online voting and jury. The public is going to choose 2 entries online as the jury will pick 1 more song to close the Top 3.
After 3 songs are picked, another online voting will determine the final Eurovision 2021 entry from Israel. The winning song will be revealed during a special TV show “Our Song for Eurovision” on January 25.
The Top 3 will be selected out of 9 entries presented earlier this month:
- Can’t Stop a Hurricane
- Coming Out
- Flying
- La La Love
- Rise Up Today
- Set Me Free
- Shoulders
- Spilling Magic
- Ue La La
Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest
Israel has made a debut at the Eurovision in 1973. During this time the country has won the contest four times. (1978, 1979, 1998, 2018), and has hosted the contest three times (1979, 1999 and 2019).
In 2020, Eden Alene was selected to represent Israel at Rotterdam. Another national final took place, which saw ‘Feker Libi’ chosen as their entry. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it’s been confirmed that Eden will represent Israel at the 2021 contest.
