VICTORIA has released “growing up is getting old”, the last of her six potential Eurovision entries. On Friday, Team Bulgaria will launch the online platform that will allow music fans from around to world to share their feedback about the six songs directly to VICTORIA and her team.
About “growing up is getting old”
The song is written by VICTORIA together with Maya Nalani, Helena Larsson and Oliver Björkvall. Although the music journey of VICTORIA’s first EP “a little dramatic” ends with “the funeral song” as the closing track, the artist and her team decided to introduce “growing up is getting old” last because of the positive message the song brings.
“growing up is getting old” is really dear and personal to me. You can grow in many different ways. Sometimes going back to your roots, to the place you feel safe and the people you love, helps you find your purpose on Earth. This is the case for me. When I listen to the song I think of my mother, my father, my sister, my friends. All the people that mean the world to me.
