Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the sixth round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. In our first ‘Super Saturday’ of the season, you were asked to predict the winners of UMK in Finland, Melodi Grand Prix in Norway, and which song will Blas Cantó represent Spain with in this year’s contest. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Finnish ticket to Rotterdam!
The tenth edition of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu will take place tonight at 20:00 CET. Seven artists will compete and the Finnish public together with international juries will choose Finland’s representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The televote will have more power this year than previously. Juries will only give out 25 percent of the points.
The host of the show will be Finnish popstar Antti Tuisku. Mikko Silvennoinen will serve as the Finnish commentator of the show while Katri Norrlin and Jani Kareinenwill be the English commentators.
During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, 190 of you have predicted who you think will take victory in Finland. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least:
|Rank||Artist||Song||Number of predictions||Percentage|
|6||Blind Channel||Dark Side||97||51.1%|
|1||Teflon Brothers x Pandora||I Love You||50||26.3%|
|7||Ilta||Kelle mä soitan||23||12.1%|
|4||Danny||Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua||1||0.5%|
This isn’t quite as decisive a lead as last year, when Erika Vikman’s “Cicciolina” scooped up over 87% of the vote. Of course, the fan favourite fell foul of the Eurovision Prediction curse and ended up second.
Members of the ESCXTRA team will be delighted with our voters’ choice, as “Dark Side” was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.

We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 7, a QUADRUPLE national final round, will open next week!
Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.
After a…slow start to the season, our players hit a winning streak! After correctly predicted Barbara Pravi’s victory in France, over 90% of them scored maximum points following The Roop’s win in Lithuania. Unfortunately, this was derailed when Nina Kraljić finished second in Dora last weekend. Can Super Saturday get us back on track?
What do you think of our players’ predictions? Who do you think will win UMK tonight? Let us know! Meanwhile, make sure you follow Eurovision Prediction on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as ESCXTRA.com on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all the exciting announcements coming your way!
